In the aftermath of the Ja anese attack on Pearl Harbor, the members of a PT boat squadron atrol Phili ine waters and attack Ja anese shi s. The PT boat initially had little res ect from senior Navy officers but their maneuverability and s eed however quickly change their minds. As the Ja anese advance across the Phili ines, the PT boats become essential in evacuating the senior ersonnel including General Mac Arthur.
